Steamed Marinated Salmon and Potatoes

This is how I prepare marinated salmon with steamed potatoes using the Monsieur Cuisine. The ingredients are for 4 servings, so if you need to reduce or increase, I believe you know what to do.

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 8 pieces.

  2. Pour 1 liter of water with 1 teaspoon of salt into the pitcher, attach the cooking basket, and arrange the potatoes in it.

  3. Grease the flat steaming basket, place the salmon slices in it, and season them with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, ½ teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of pepper.

  4. Attach the flat steaming basket with the salmon to the pitcher, close it, and cook everything with the steam cooking button for 20 minutes.

  5. After cooking, remove the flat steaming basket and place the potatoes in a container to season them with oil, salt, and pepper.

  6. Prepare 4 flat plates and place the 4 salmon slices on one side of each plate.

  7. Add the freshly seasoned potatoes and serve on the table.

  8. Open a good bottle of Gewürztraminer and enjoy dinner together.

TIP: At Aldi, they already have packages of salmon slices with various marinades, which are an excellent time-saving alternative if you prefer.
